Melania's Revenge? New Company Launched as Documentary Looms!
Movies & TV Series 29 November 2025

Well, well, well. Looks like Melania Trump is making a move into the world of Hollywood. The former First Lady has just announced the launch of her own production company, Muse Films, and the timing couldn't be more interesting. Especially considering a major documentary about her life is just around the corner.

Melania's Revenge? New Company Launched as Documen...

The buzz is all about "Melania," the documentary hitting theaters (and select international markets) on January 30, 2026. Amazon MGM Studios snagged the rights, so you know they're expecting a big audience. Directed by Brett Ratner, who, let's be honest, has a bit of a controversial reputation, the film is slated to offer an “intimate” glimpse into the 20 days leading up to her husband's 2025 inauguration. Seeing it all "through the eyes of the former First Lady" - sounds like a carefully curated perspective, wouldn't you say?

Melania herself broke the news about Muse Films on social media, naturally. A sleek motion video showcasing the company's logo accompanied the announcement. "PRESENTING: MUSE FILMS My new production company. MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026," she posted. I have to admit, the "Muse" branding is pretty clever, given it was her Secret Service code name. A little bit of personal branding, a little bit of intrigue – not bad.

She's not just lending her name, either. Melania is listed as an executive producer on the "Melania" documentary, alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media. Production already started back in December 2024, so this has clearly been in the works for a while now. You have to wonder what kind of creative control she'll actually have, and how much of a say she has in the final cut. I bet that's going to be a fascinating power dynamic to watch.

Of course, a former White House resident starting a production company isn't entirely unheard of. We saw the Obamas launch Higher Ground Productions after their time in the White House. And they saw immediate success, with their first major project, "American Factory," winning an Oscar. Can Melania and Muse Films replicate that kind of impact? That's the million-dollar question. It will be interesting to see if she uses the platform to advocate for similar causes, or if she takes a totally different direction with her creative vision. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!
