Vault Hunters, listen up! If you’ve been holding off on diving into the chaotic world of *Borderlands 4*, now’s your chance. Amazon and GameStop are currently offering a killer Black Friday deal that slashes the price of the physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X by a whopping 50%. That’s right, you can snag the game for just $35, a serious markdown from its original $70 price tag.
Borderlands 4: Amazon's Insane 50% Off Sale! PS5 &...
This deal isn't expected to hang around forever. In fact, the PS5 version actually sold out once already on Amazon. So, if you want to grab this one, don't hesitate.
For those who prefer the Switch 2, there’s a glimmer of hope too. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of *Borderlands 4* is also seeing a price cut on pre-order. Target is currently offering $15 off on the Switch 2 version, although I noticed that Amazon did briefly match this offer, but it seems to have sold out. One minor detail: it's actually a Game-Key Card, so be prepared for a digital download after you put the cartridge in.
For those unfamiliar, *Borderlands 4* moves the action from Pandora (and other planets from *Borderlands 3*) to Kairos, where players will square off against the Timekeeper's forces. The formula remains largely the same. Pick your Vault Hunter (each with unique skills, of course), upgrade them, and find all the powerful guns. The gameplay is what you expect if you've played the franchise before. And from what I've read, Gearbox has made some welcomed quality-of-life improvements.
Since its launch, Gearbox has been actively tweaking *Borderlands 4* with updates and balance patches. The studio also has a roadmap of post-launch content, both free and paid, with the first DLC hitting on November 20th. That DLC adds new missions, enemies, and Legendary gear, but the real challenge appears to be coming later in the year with endgame content that lets you pit your souped-up Vault Hunter against Bloomreaper the Invincible. Sounds like a good test for those optimized builds!
So, there you have it. A chance to snag *Borderlands 4* at half the price. I know I'm tempted. Happy hunting!
