Alright, *Stranger Things* fans, buckle up. If you're avoiding spoilers for the upcoming Season 5 like the Demogorgon, turn back now. Seriously, big ones ahead. Otherwise, let's dive into what Noah Schnapp is hinting about Will Byers' arc, and it sounds like he's about to become a *major* player in the fight against Vecna.

Stranger Things 5: Will's Secret REVEALED! Finale ...

We all remember poor Will. He was the first to get dragged into the Upside Down, kicking off the whole nightmarish saga. While he's always been connected to that dark dimension, feeling its presence and serving almost as a living early warning system, he's often been relegated to a supporting role. But according to Schnapp, that's about to change in a big way. In fact, the Duffer Brothers are apparently setting up a huge reveal in the closing moments of *Stranger Things 5* Vol. 1.

In a recent interview, Schnapp teases that Will's powers will manifest in ways similar to Eleven's, but also uniquely his own. And it all culminates in a showdown with Vecna at the end of Episode 4. Schnapp emphasizes that Will's journey this season is about recognizing his own strength. He says that his character has been perceived as weak due to fear, but this is far from the truth. He's endured trauma, always gets back up, and that is his strength.

Schnapp also points to an earlier conversation between Will and his mom, Joyce, as a pivotal moment. Joyce has always been fiercely protective of Will, understandably so given his past. However, it seems that Joyce's belief in him, along with Robin's supportive words, helps Will finally believe in himself. He acknowledges that this mirrors his real-life relationship with Winona Ryder.

Vecna's underestimation of Will seems to be a critical plot point. Vecna views Will as weak, easy to manipulate. Schnapp begs to differ. He argues that Will's fear shouldn't be mistaken for weakness. He's been through hell and back, but he keeps pushing forward.

The interview drops a hint about Mike's faith in Will's powers. A particular moment with Will wiping blood from his nose apparently follows this and will be a critical moment to watch, but that's where the interview cut off. It really feels like the Duffer brothers are setting Will up to become the hero we've always hoped he could be. I know I, for one, am excited to see what he can do.
