Star Trek Fans, Prepare to Beam Down Savings This Black Friday!
Tech Product Reviews 26 November 2025

Alright, Trekkies, brace yourselves! It looks like the early Black Friday deals are warping in at warp speed, and Amazon's got a doozy. For those of you (like myself) who grew up glued to the television every week, waiting for the adventures of Picard and company, there's a deal you absolutely cannot miss.

Star Trek Fans, Prepare to Beam Down Savings This ...

I'm talking about "Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Complete Series" on Blu-ray. Normally, this glorious collection of 178 episodes goes for a pretty penny. But right now, Amazon's slashed the price down to a ridiculously tempting $99.99. Yeah, you read that right. Under a hundred bucks for the entire saga. That's less than a cup of coffee per episode, people!

For those unfamiliar (though I can't imagine who isn't!), "Star Trek: TNG" debuted back in 1987 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. It wasn't just about pew-pew laser battles, although those were cool too. It was about exploring complex ethical dilemmas, challenging societal norms, and, well, boldly going where no one had gone before. Captain Picard, with his calm demeanor and unwavering commitment to Starfleet principles, became an instant icon. And who can forget Riker's beard, Data's quest for humanity, or Worf's Klingon honor? The show was just… special. I remember rushing home from school every week just to catch the newest episode. Good times.

This isn't just some upscaled DVD release either. This is the Blu-ray version, which means you're getting the show in glorious high-definition. Prepare to see details you never even noticed before! Plus, Blu-rays tend to include a bunch of bonus features – deleted scenes, interviews, behind-the-scenes documentaries – all that good stuff. It's basically a deep dive into the making of a legend.

Speaking of legends, it seems Star Trek fans will have even more to look forward to this Black Friday. LEGO is dropping a U.S.S. Enterprise set on November 28th. So you can watch the show and build your own miniature version of the iconic starship. Seems like the perfect weekend to me!

But Amazon isn't the only player in the Black Friday game. Target and Best Buy are also rolling out early sales, so be sure to check them out as well. It’s a jungle out there, but with deals this good, it’s a jungle worth exploring. However, I suspect this TNG Blu-ray deal will be pretty hard to beat for any Trekkie out there. Engage!
