First up, and this one’s pure joy: Minnesota is getting a Prince-themed library card! Yes, you read that right. The iconic symbol, the vibrant colors, all celebrating the musical genius. As a lifelong Prince fan myself (and I'm not afraid to admit I still rock out to "Purple Rain" on occasion), I think this is an absolutely fantastic way to encourage folks to get involved with their local library. Seriously, who wouldn't want to check out a book with *that* card in their wallet? It’s a small thing, but it's a reminder that libraries are not stuffy, antiquated places. They're evolving, adapting, and staying relevant to the communities they serve.

Now, shifting gears to something a little more serious, there's been a lot of discussion lately about librarian well-being. It's a topic close to my heart, obviously. We're not just shelving books and shushing patrons (though, sometimes, that’s part of the job!).
