Chloë Sevigny's SHOCKING New Role! FKA Twigs Co-Stars?!

Okay, folks, get ready for something deliciously dark. Chloë Sevigny, the queen of indie cool, is officially on board for Boy Harsher's feature film debut, *The Lonely Woman*. Yes, *that* Boy Harsher, the electronic duo known for their synth-drenched soundscapes that practically scream "moody erotic thriller." And trust me, the details emerging suggest this film is going to deliver exactly that.

Chloë Sevigny's SHOCKING New Role! FKA Twigs Co-St...

Filming has already wrapped up in the eerie, beautiful landscape of Upstate New York, which, let's be honest, practically lends itself to atmospheric horror. Word on the street is we can expect a premiere sometime in 2026, so mark your calendars, because this is one you won't want to miss. I've been following Boy Harsher for years; their music already paints such vivid pictures, so the thought of them translating that into a full-blown film? My expectations are high.

Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews, the masterminds behind Boy Harsher, are not only directing but also wrote the script. That’s dedication! And they're calling it a "bleak, sensual and atmospheric horror-thriller." The "sensual" part, coupled with Boy Harsher’s involvement, is really piquing my interest. It's bound to be something visually arresting and sonically unsettling – in the best way possible, of course.

But wait, there's more. The cast list is a veritable who's who of musically-inclined talent. FKA Twigs, Sturgill Simpson, Will Oldham (aka Bonnie "Prince" Billy) are all set to appear alongside Jake Weary. FKA Twigs in particular seems like a perfect fit for Boy Harsher's world. And let's not forget, Boy Harsher themselves are crafting the score, which pretty much guarantees a sonic experience as integral to the film as the visuals. Having seen them live, I can only imagine how powerful their music will be interwoven into a visual narrative like this.

Behind the scenes, the creative team is just as impressive. Hunter Zimny, who lensed *Giants Being Lonely* and *The Scary of Sixty-First*, is handling the cinematography, promising a visually striking film. And Madeline Sadowski, known for her work on *Good Time* and Chappel Roan’s iconic ‘The Subway’ music video, is crafting the production design. These choices alone tell you this film is going for a certain aesthetic: raw, visceral, and unforgettable.

Produced by Alex Hughes for Spacemaker, Craig Butta for Base 12, and Bruno Vernaschi-Berman for Good Bath, *The Lonely Woman* already has all the makings of a cult classic. With Sevigny, FKA Twigs, and Boy Harsher at the helm, this is one indie project that's definitely on my radar. The wait until 2026 is going to be agonizing!
