The Dallas Cowboys just pulled off a stunner. That improbable comeback victory against the Philadelphia Eagles? It might just be the spark that ignites their entire season.

Cowboys CRUSH Rivals! Is This Their Ticket to the ...

Down 21-0 in the second quarter, things looked bleak, to say the least. But Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, seemingly energized by the pressure, orchestrated a rally for the ages. He threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns, even rushing for one himself. It was a performance that mirrored the largest comeback in Cowboys history, culminating in a 24-21 triumph over the reigning Super Bowl champions. You could feel the electricity even watching from home.

Now sitting at 5-5-1, the Cowboys are riding a two-game winning streak post-bye. They're 1 ½ games outside the NFC's final wild-card spot, but their 3-4-1 conference record could be a killer in any tiebreaker scenarios down the road. But for now, they’re alive and kicking.

The celebration won't last long, though. They face the Kansas City Chiefs in just four days. The Chiefs are just as hungry for a win, and they’ll be coming to Dallas looking to crush the Cowboys’ newfound playoff hopes. It's going to be a dogfight.

"This game tonight, this was our season," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones declared outside the locker room, practically buzzing with excitement.

But this season is about more than just wins and losses for the Cowboys. Just 17 days prior, defensive end Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away. His absence hangs heavy, serving as a constant source of motivation for the team. They're playing for something bigger than themselves.

Kneeland's No. 94 jersey hangs behind the team bench, a constant reminder. During the post-game celebration, his former teammates proudly waved a flag bearing his name and number. It was a powerful moment, a testament to the bond they shared and the loss they feel.

The comeback itself was a rollercoaster. After tying the game at 21-21, the Eagles muffed a kick, handing Dallas the ball at the 7-yard line. But the Eagles' defense held firm, denying the Cowboys a go-ahead score on fourth-and-1. The pressure was immense. But the Cowboys' defense responded, with Osa Odighizuwa sacking Jalen Hurts on third down. He said they were all inspired to win for Kneeland.

Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer cited Brandon Aubrey's game-winning field goal as time expired as his favorite moment. Fair enough! He said walking into the locker room and seeing the pure joy on his players’ faces was a close second.

Even Dak Prescott, usually not one for collecting memorabilia, made an exception. He recounted how one of the trainers offered him his game-worn jersey. "I go, 'Yeah, I'm going to keep that one,'" Prescott said. "I know it's a game I won't forget… I can't look back and say, 'This was the moment, this game meant everything to that season.' Right now, just staying with my feet, and super, super thankful for this team, for the men, for the opportunity." He's right to be thankful. This could be a turning point.
