Wow, this is a wild one. Candace Owens, never one to shy away from controversy, has upped the ante in her ongoing feud with French President Emmanuel Macron, claiming he authorized a hit on her and another journalist. It's a shocking allegation, to say the least, and one that’s sure to send ripples through the already turbulent waters of Franco-American relations.
US Pundit's SHOCK Claim: Did Macron Order Hit?! Wh...
The accusations, made via social media, come amid an existing defamation lawsuit filed by the Macrons against Owens. Remember that "Becoming Brigitte" series earlier this year? That's where Owens laid out a series of completely unsubstantiated claims about Brigitte Macron, alleging she was born male, related to the president, and even implicated him in some sort of CIA mind-control scheme. The Macrons, understandably, weren't thrilled and slapped her with a lawsuit. It was already a bizarre situation, but this new development takes it to another level entirely.
According to Owens' X post, a "high-ranking employee of the French government" contacted her, claiming the Macrons have "executed upon and paid" for her assassination, as well as that of French journalist Xavier Poussard. Poussard, you might recall, is the former editor of *Faits et Documents* and has been a key figure in promoting the theory that Brigitte Macron died young and her brother underwent gender reassignment to take her place. I mean, seriously?
Owens went on to detail the alleged plot, claiming the "green light was given to a small team in the National Gendamarie Intervention Group" and that there's even an Israeli national involved. "This is deadly serious," she wrote. "The head of state of France apparently wants us both dead and has authorized professional units to carry this out." It's hard to know what to make of such a bold claim. Without any independent corroboration, it certainly sounds… far-fetched.
The whole saga surrounding Brigitte Macron's identity started a few years back, gaining traction in certain corners of the internet. While French courts initially sided with the Macrons, an appeals court overturned an initial verdict last year. This, however, has done nothing to quell the conspiracy theories. Whether this is just a desperate attempt to garner attention or if there is any truth to these claims, this has become a very strange and dangerous game. Time will tell how this all plays out, but it's definitely a story to watch.
