Poussard, you might recall, is the former editor of *Faits et Documents* and has been a key figure in promoting the theory that Brigitte Macron died young and her brother underwent gender reassignment to take her place. I mean, seriously?

Owens went on to detail the alleged plot, claiming the "green light was given to a small team in the National Gendamarie Intervention Group" and that there's even an Israeli national involved. "This is deadly serious," she wrote. "The head of state of France apparently wants us both dead and has authorized professional units to carry this out." It's hard to know what to make of such a bold claim. Without any independent corroboration, it certainly sounds… far-fetched.
