Şengün UNSTOPPABLE! Even Defensive Player of the Year Can't Halt Him!

Alperen Şengün is at it again, folks! The Houston Rockets are on a roll, extending their winning streak to five games with a resounding 114-104 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road. And guess who was leading the charge? None other than our man Alperen Şengün, who absolutely dominated with 28 points and 11 rebounds. It's becoming a regular occurrence, and honestly, it's thrilling to watch his growth. He's becoming a true force to be reckoned with in the NBA.

Şengün UNSTOPPABLE! Even Defensive Player of the Y...

The Cavaliers, despite playing at home, simply couldn't contain Şengün. What's even more impressive? They threw everything they had at him, including what many consider to be the league's best defensive players. It just didn't matter. For the Rockets, Kevin Durant chipped in with a solid 20 points, and Aaron Holiday added 18, showing it wasn't a one-man show. But let's be real, all eyes were on Şengün. The Cavaliers' De'Andre Hunter tried to keep pace with 25 points, and Donovan Mitchell exploded for 21, with 19 of those coming in the final quarter. But it wasn't enough to overcome the Rockets' momentum and, of course, Şengün's sheer brilliance.

Elsewhere in the league, the Toronto Raptors continued their impressive run, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 121-112 on the road. Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett each scored 22 points, while Jakob Poeltl added 19, and Immanuel Quickley contributed 18. The Raptors have won nine of their last ten games, a testament to their improved teamwork and execution. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 24 points and 9 assists, but even that stellar performance couldn't prevent the Raptors from taking the win. The Sixers just seem to be struggling to find consistency lately. Something's got to give there, I think.

And finally, the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder showed why they're a force to be reckoned with, defeating the Sacramento Kings 113-99 at home. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was, as usual, fantastic with 33 points and 8 rebounds. The Thunder have now won their seventh consecutive game, proving their championship pedigree. Chet Holmgren added 21 points and 7 rebounds, while Luguentz Dort and Ajay Mitchell rounded out the scoring with 14 and 13 points, respectively. What was truly special was seeing Russell Westbrook, who once reigned supreme with the Thunder, receive a standing ovation during the player introductions. Even as a rival, he's earned respect, and you could feel the genuine appreciation from the Oklahoma City crowd. In the Kings' losing effort, Dennis Schroder managed 21 points, but Domantas Sabonis's absence due to a knee injury definitely hurt their chances.
