PlayStation Purge: Fan Favorites Face the PS Plus ...

## PS Plus Purge: Nine Games Bidding Farewell Next Month Another month, another refresh – and that means a fresh batch of games entering and, unfortunately, *leaving* the PlayStation Plus catalogue. Next month sees nine titles heading for the digital exit, so if you've been meaning to dive in, now’s the time. Honestly, there are a few gems in this departing lineup that are well worth your attention. Speaking as a lifelong Sonic devotee, I genuinely enjoyed the surprisingly ambitious open-world gameplay of *Sonic Frontiers*. Sure, it had its quirks, but zipping around those sprawling landscapes was a blast. And then there's *Forspoken*. Look, I know it got a rough reception, but I still stand by my opinion that it's a solid action-adventure game with a really interesting magic system. Don’t let the initial negativity put you off – give Frey Holland a chance! Now, let's get to the more mainstream losses. *Battlefield 2042*, while it had its ups and downs, is being overshadowed by the upcoming (and highly anticipated) *Battlefield 6*. It's the natural order of things, really. On the other hand, *GTA 3*'s departure feels a bit like a strategic move, especially with *GTA 5* now readily available on the service. A calculated subtraction to highlight the newer, shinier offering, perhaps? But the real bummer, in my opinion, is the removal of *Arcade Paradise VR* and *Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge*. These losses hit especially hard because they further thin out the already somewhat limited PSVR2 library. With Sony still trying to push its VR platform, every title counts. Losing these two just means less to experience for PSVR2 owners, which is a shame. So, there you have it. Nine games are getting the boot next month. If any of these have been sitting on your "to play" list, now's the time to prioritize them. You don't want to miss out! Want a complete overview of what's currently on offer? We've got you covered with our comprehensive guide to PS Plus and its full roster of games. Happy gaming!
