And judging by the trailer, it's going to be gloriously, gruesomely good.

The trailer, which I just watched (and might watch again later, to be honest), gives us a deep dive into what to expect. We’re not just talking about a fresh coat of paint here, people. The Undead faction is getting a complete overhaul. The crown jewel? A brand new, exclusive research tree boasting a whopping 64 individual techs. That's enough to keep even the most dedicated armchair general busy for, oh, about a century.

Inspired, I tell you, simply inspired - the Drake of Progressive Rock and the Drake of Hard Rock. What better way to crush your enemies than with a perfectly timed guitar riff?

Beyond the unit roster, the update tackles the game's economy. As anyone who's played "Diplomacy is Not an Option" knows, resource management is critical. From what I can tell, the rework looks to make things more strategic and engaging, forcing players to adapt and optimize their undead empires.
