Honoring Sacrifice at Wahat Al Karama

President Lee's first stop was Wahat Al Karama, a poignant war memorial translated as "Oasis of Dignity." Here, he honored the memory of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's founding president, widely revered as the "Father of the Nation." Sheikh Zayed played a pivotal role in unifying the emirates in 1971 and led the country until his passing in 2004.

In another guest book entry, President Lee wrote, "Remembering President Zayed, we will move forward vigorously toward a future of shared prosperity between our two nations."
