Sarabi's production company, Golsa Enterprises, will produce the film, which Sarabi also co-wrote with Beristain. The project is a collaborative effort, conceived by Sarabi, Behnam Mokri, and Nicholas Charlsen.

While the film is set in a near-future world heavily influenced by technology and surveillance, its inspiration lies in the real-life events following the Iranian Revolution over four decades ago.
