GCDS Fall 2026: Clermont Twins SHOCK Paris Fashion Week!
Fashion & Style 28 February 2026

Milan Fashion Week just wrapped, and let me tell you, GCDS did not disappoint. Giuliano Calza's Fall 2026 collection wasn't just a runway show; it was a full-blown spectacle. Imagine this: Models emerging from a giant shopping bag prop, soundtracked by "Teenage Dirtbag." I mean, the nostalgia was dialed up to eleven, and it worked. The vibe was definitely '90s, with a cheeky twist of lingerie meets everyday wear. Think cool girl insouciance with a dash of "I woke up like this (but it took two hours)."

Calza himself said the collection was about more than just a meme-worthy bag moment. "For us, 'What's in My Bag?' is not just about a meme," he explained. "It's about opening the bag that holds ten years of my world, and showing what's inside: the culture, the humor, the established silhouettes and iconic designs that have made GCDS what it is." Basically, it was a decade-spanning retrospective, and who doesn't love a good throwback?

The collection delved into the idea of "emotional baggage," which is something we can all relate to, right? Instead of focusing on what we carry, Calza explored what we accumulate. This translated into a '90s revival, but with a very specific GCDS edge. We're talking lingerie-inspired pieces, body-hugging tailoring, and a healthy dose of playful provocation.

Think peplum tops paired with pencil skirts, sheer lace teddies styled for daytime (brave, but cool), and skin-tight dresses with visible bras. Corsets made an appearance, toughened up with leather pants, and flounced LBDs with ruffle hems walked the line between intimate and public. One particularly daring look? A sheer sequin maxi layered over a thong. Talk about making a statement!

Snakeskin was *everywhere* - bombers, pants, even a backless gown. Sequins were deemed perfectly acceptable for daytime wear (worn with bras, no less!), and metallic tops were paired with snake-print trousers. The menswear echoed the theme, featuring those same snake-print pants and shorts under oversized sweaters. Honestly, the commitment to the theme was impressive.

The color palette was a wild ride, from leopard and polka dots to neon yellow, hot pink, and vibrant red. Silver sequins provided a grounding (or maybe just a dazzling) contrast. Lace trims and sheer hosiery added some textural depth. And the accessories? Teddy bear bags, cube bags, lucite platform heels, over-the-knee flat boots, lace pantyhose, and those iconic open-mouth heels. It was a lot, but somehow, it worked.

And the front row? Stacked. Olandria, Anna Dello Russo, Emilia Mernes, and the Clermont Twins were all there, soaking it all in. You could feel the energy in the room as the models took their final walk, a unified, statement-making conclusion to a truly memorable show. GCDS definitely brought the heat to Milan this season.
