Alright, Pokemon fans, brace yourselves! It's Pokemon Day 2026, and you know what that means: a brand-new Pokemon Presents is upon us. This year feels extra special, marking the franchise's 30th anniversary. Can you believe it? Three decades of catching 'em all! Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are, as always, playing their cards close to the vest, but we're ready to dive into whatever they throw our way.
Pokémon UNLEASHED! The Gen 10 Twist That Will SHOC...
The stream kicks off bright and early at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. If you're dedicated enough to wake up that early (and I might just be!), you can catch it live on YouTube. If you're like me and prefer a slightly less frantic start to your day, just keep refreshing this page. We'll be updating live as the announcements roll in, giving you all the need-to-know info without the early-morning grogginess. Hit that F5 key, folks!
We already know that the long-awaited remakes of Pokemon Red and Blue – FireRed and LeafGreen – have officially launched today for Switch. That's a solid start, a real nostalgia bomb for us older fans. But what else is in store? It's safe to assume we'll get the usual updates on the Pokemon universe as a whole. We're talking the trading card game (still going strong!), the animated series (still captivating kids and adults alike), those ever-popular Lego sets, and maybe even a movie announcement. Remember the hype around Detective Pikachu? Good times.
And of course, there's the ever-expanding world of Pokemon spin-offs. Pokemon Go, despite initial skepticism, remains a mobile gaming titan. Then there's Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, Pokemon Unite, and Pokemon Masters EX – each carving out their own niche. Will we see new content for these games? Possibly a brand-new spin-off to sink our teeth into? The possibilities are endless, really. Personally, I'm still holding out for a proper Pokemon MMO... one can dream, right?
But the big question on everyone's mind: could today be the day we finally get a glimpse of Pokemon Gen 10? The timing feels right. It's the 30th anniversary, the Switch is still selling like crazy, and the hype is palpable. Announcing a new mainline game would be the perfect way to cap off the presentation, sending fans into a frenzy of speculation and excitement. I'm trying not to get my hopes up *too* much, but let's be honest, I'm already brainstorming team compositions and thinking about what kind of new Pokemon typings we might see. Only time will tell, so stay tuned!
