Alright, gamers, listen up! If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for a good deal to pad out that ever-growing digital library. And if you're a Steam Deck owner? Even better. More games to play on the go is *always* a win. Well, Fanatical is here to potentially rescue your wallet (or at least offer some tempting compromises) with their latest Bundlefest event.
Steam Deck Owners: The ULTIMATE Game Bundle Is HER...
This week-long extravaganza kicked off on Monday, February 23rd (yes, I know, it's already Tuesday, but better late than never!), and promises a daily dose of discounted PC Game bundles. The event runs through Friday, February 27th, giving you plenty of time to peruse the offerings and decide which ones are worth snagging. So far, we've seen two bundles emerge from the digital depths, and they both look pretty darn good.
The first cab off the rank is a new iteration of Fanatical's popular Killer Bundle. This one's interesting because it offers a whopping 21 items for a paltry $0.96 *per key*. That's practically highway robbery...for you, the consumer, of course! Think of it as a digital grab bag – you might not know exactly what you're getting, but the price is certainly right. It's worth noting that with "mystery" bundles like this, you might get some...less stellar games. But hey, at under a dollar a pop, you can't really complain, can you?
The second bundle, which dropped today (Tuesday, February 24th), is the February 2026 edition of the Play On The Go Elite Collection. I'm not entirely sure why it's the "February 2026" edition when it's February 2024, but hey, maybe they're time travelers. More importantly, this bundle lets you pick from up to 18 games for as low as $7 each. This allows for a bit more curated selection, which can be a big plus if you're looking for something specific to play on your Steam Deck during your commute (or, you know, while hiding from your family during the holidays).
According to the folks at GameSpot, another bundle will be dropping tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25th, and the rest of the week will bring even more surprises. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on things! Just remember, these deals typically last longer than the event itself, so you won't necessarily have to make a snap decision. One important note: all games purchased through Fanatical come as official keys, primarily for Steam, though occasionally for other platforms like the Epic Games Store. These keys *do* expire, so make sure you redeem them sooner rather than later. Most last about a year, but it's always best to check the expiration date in your Fanatical account after purchase. Happy gaming!
