Big news for drivers across Turkey! Bosch Car Service has just announced a major milestone: they now have a presence in all 81 provinces of the country. This is huge. It means no matter where you are, you're (theoretically) never too far from a Bosch-certified mechanic.
Bosch Car Service Reaches All 81 Cities! What Does...
The final piece of the puzzle fell into place with the opening of Akhanlar Otomotiv, a brand new Bosch Car Service location in Kars, a city nestled in the far eastern reaches of Turkey. This brings the total number of Bosch Car Service centers nationwide to a whopping 385. That's a lot of wrenches turning! It’s the culmination, apparently, of what they’re calling their "81 Province Vision," a strategy they’ve been diligently pursuing for the past three years.
Daniel Korioth, the big boss – President of Bosch Turkey and the Middle East – was understandably pleased. "We are proud to serve every corner of Turkey," he said in the press release. He rightly pointed out that this achievement is a testament to Bosch's century-long presence in Turkey. A hundred years is a long time to build a reputation, and it seems to have paid off. Korioth emphasized that consistent service standards across the nation are a top priority, meaning (hopefully) you get the same quality of repair whether you're in Istanbul or Kars.
Arda Arslan, Regional Director for Turkey & Middle East, elaborated on the network's growth, mentioning that Bosch Car Service has been operating in Turkey since 2002. They’ve been focusing on both expanding their numbers and also internally transforming their operations. Arslan emphasized their commitment to providing "world-class, reliable, and high-quality service" to every vehicle owner, regardless of their location. To ensure that promise holds true, they’ve been investing heavily in training, and conducting regular audits to maintain quality control. I’ve seen some smaller chains expand rapidly and lose quality, so it's encouraging to see Bosch focusing on this.
But it’s not just about more locations. Bosch Car Service is also clearly focused on embracing digital technology. They're integrating their service points with Bosch's digital ecosystem, which includes things like online appointment scheduling (integrated with Google, which is smart), B2B ordering platforms, and the Bosch Mobility Training Academy for technicians. Plus, they’re standardizing service equipment and using high-quality spare parts across the entire network. These are all important steps in maintaining consistency and efficiency.
The best part? These service centers can handle maintenance and repair for all makes and models of cars, and it won't void your manufacturer's warranty. That's a major selling point for a lot of drivers. Beyond simply opening new locations, Bosch Car Service is also investing in upgrading existing ones, improving customer waiting areas and workshops. This seems to me like a holistic approach, ensuring that Bosch Car Service continues to be a major player in Turkey's automotive service landscape.
