Forget just Sherwood Forest, we're talking about the royal courts of England, France, and even Rome! This isn't just a local outlaw rebellion anymore; it's evolving into a high-stakes battle for the soul of the entire kingdom. With the Angevin empire teetering on the edge, Robin and Marian will find themselves dealing with kings, queens, and all the political machinations that come with them. Word is, they'll even have to use the very tools of Norman power to protect the Saxons, which sounds like a delicious dose of historical irony.

While we're still waiting on official casting announcements for the new season, it's safe to assume that Patten, McQueen, and Bean will be reprising their roles. The rest of the cast, including Lydia Peckham, Steven Waddington, and Connie Nielsen, also brought a lot to the table, so hopefully, we'll see them back as well.
