Fallout Fans, Prepare! Season 2 Pre-Order Details Just Dropped!
Gaming News 18 February 2026

Well, that was fast! Fresh off the heels of its second season finale on Prime Video, "Fallout: Season Two" is already gearing up for its physical media release. Amazon has officially opened preorders for the 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and DVD versions, meaning you can soon own the wasteland adventures in glorious high definition (or standard definition, if that's your thing).

Fallout Fans, Prepare! Season 2 Pre-Order Details ...

For the collector in all of us (and let's be honest, who *doesn't* love a good steelbook?), there's a limited-edition 4K Steelbook up for grabs at $48. The cover art alone is enough to tempt any "Fallout" fan, featuring Lucy, the Ghoul, and Maximus silhouetted against the backdrop of a ravaged New Vegas. A menacing, mutant-shaped cloud looms overhead, perfectly capturing the show's blend of dark humor and post-apocalyptic dread. No release date has been set, but you can lock in your preorder now and secure that sweet, sweet steelbook goodness.

If you're not quite as obsessed with fancy packaging (no judgment!), the standard edition is also available for preorder on 4K Blu-ray, regular Blu-ray, and DVD for about $35, release date also TBD. It's a safe bet that the standard editions will launch alongside the steelbook, and will likely include the same bonus content. Speaking of which…

While the exact bonus features haven't been revealed yet, we can probably look to the "Fallout: Season One" Blu-ray release for clues. That set included a collection of behind-the-scenes featurettes, giving fans a glimpse into the making of the show. Fingers crossed we get more of the same, like interviews with the cast and crew, deleted scenes, and maybe even some Easter egg hunts. I'm especially hoping for a deep dive into the practical effects and the creation of those ghastly ghouls.

And hey, if you somehow missed out on the first season, now's a good time to snag the Blu-ray or DVD. The steelbook version is currently out of stock (figures!), but the 4K version is on sale for $35 (down from $40), and the DVD is a steal at $20 (originally $25). Not a bad deal at all.

The recent surge in video game adaptations has been pretty remarkable, hasn’t it? If you're looking to build a Blu-ray library of these adaptations, you have quite a few options. HBO's "The Last of Us" series is considered a modern masterpiece, and "Twisted Metal" provides a surprisingly fun take on the road-rage racing game. Even "Halo" has made the jump to TV, with both seasons available on Blu-ray. So, get your popcorn ready, grab your controller (or Blu-ray remote!), and dive into these immersive worlds.
