This year, a whopping 27 restaurants are participating, each putting their own spin on the classic "spoon dish." For a mere €4, you get a generous serving of their creation, paired with a drink – your choice of beer, a soft drink, or water. Pretty hard to beat that for value, especially considering the quality of ingredients usually involved.

The variety on offer is truly impressive. We're talking traditional Malagueña specialties like sopa cachorreña (a cod-based delight) and fennel potaje, alongside some more adventurous options. I spotted Iberian pork canelón filled with pringá (a slow-cooked meat stew), red tuna casserole with crispy skin, goat caldereta with mushrooms, and even Yucatecan-style black beans on the list! It's a culinary journey right here in Rincon.

A panel of professional judges will be anonymously sampling all the dishes, with some serious prizes up for grabs: €1,000 and a trophy for first place, €700 for second, and €500 for third.
