Her playing career began in Bursa and included stints with several clubs, including Gemlik Zeytinspor, Küçükçekmece Akdeniz Spor, Zeytinburnuspor, and Yalıspor. I remember those smaller clubs; they often don't get the recognition they deserve, but they're vital to developing talent at the grassroots level. And then, she transitioned into coaching, starting with Küçükçekmece Akdeniz Spor before eventually taking on a role at Galatasaray – a huge step up, to be sure.

They acknowledged Çelik as a "valuable name in Turkish football" and extended their heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, and the entire football community. Most recently, Çelik was serving as the head coach of Küçükçekmece Akdeniz Spor, showing her continued dedication to the sport. It's clear she had a passion for developing young players and giving back to the community where she started. The funeral service is scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 PM at Küçükçekmece Yeşilova Kemal Aktaş Stadium, after which her body will be sent back to Artvin for burial.
