Obsession Teaser: You Won't Believe What She's Hiding!
Gaming News 12 February 2026

Hold onto your hats, Horror fans, because the second teaser trailer for *Obsession* just dropped, and it looks like we're in for a wild ride. I've been following this project for a while now, and I've got to say, this new glimpse into the film has seriously piqued my interest.

Obsession Teaser: You Won't Believe What She's Hid...

The film, starring Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and – surprisingly – Andy Richter, centers around a classic cautionary tale. You know the drill: a hapless romantic, a desperate wish, and then… well, things go sideways. This time, our protagonist breaks the "One Wish Willow" to win over his crush. And wouldn’t you know it, he gets his wish. But as the tagline suggests, and as we all know from countless Horror flicks, getting what you *think* you want is often the scariest thing imaginable.

Seriously, who puts their trust in a "One Wish Willow?" I mean, come on. But hey, that's the setup, and I'm here for it. The trailer itself is suitably creepy, offering just enough to tantalize without giving away the farm. We see quick cuts, fleeting images of… something unsettling. The tone is definitely leaning into psychological horror, which I personally find far more effective than cheap jump scares. Though, knowing the genre, we'll probably get both. And that's okay!

Behind the scenes, the production team is a solid mix of veterans and rising stars. James Harris of Teashop Productions, Haley Nicole Johnson from Under the Shell, Christian Mercuri from Capstone Pictures, and Roman Viaris are all producing, which suggests a diverse range of experience. Interestingly, Jason Blum of Blumhouse fame is on board as an executive producer, so that gives you an idea of the level of horror they're aiming for. Blumhouse has a pretty consistent track record of delivering commercially successful, albeit sometimes formulaic, horror films. Hopefully, *Obsession* will break the mold.

The writer and director, Curry Barker, is someone to watch. This is their feature directorial debut, and based on the buzz and the trailer, it seems like they're bringing a fresh perspective to the genre. Honestly, sometimes it's the unexpected talent that delivers the most memorable scares. I'm genuinely excited to see what Barker brings to the table. We've got a long wait ahead of us, though. *Obsession* doesn’t hit theaters until May 15, 2026. Mark your calendars, folks, because if this teaser is anything to go by, *Obsession* could be the next big thing in horror... or at least a good night out at the movies!
