Super Lig: Bottom Dwellers in Win Crisis, Top Untouchable!

The Trendyol Süper Lig is shaping up to be a tale of two leagues this season. While the top teams are basking in the glory of lengthy unbeaten runs, a clutch of clubs near the bottom are desperately searching for any semblance of winning form. Week 21 has just wrapped, and the contrast is stark.

Let's be blunt: TÜMOSAN Konyaspor, Kasımpaşa, and Corendon Alanyaspor are in a serious rut. Each of these squads, occupying various spots in the lower-middle to bottom tiers, has managed a measly single victory in their last 12 outings. That kind of form is relegation-threatening, plain and simple. You have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, at the summit, it's a completely different story. The teams vying for the championship and those coveted European spots are proving incredibly difficult to crack. Fenerbahçe remain undefeated in the league – a truly impressive feat. Beşiktaş is unbeaten in 10, Galatasaray in 9, and RAMS Başakşehir in 8. It's almost like there's a forcefield around their goalposts.

This disparity in form has, predictably, widened the gap between the top five and the rest. What's interesting, though, is the tight clustering of points among the mid and lower-ranked teams. This sets the stage for a potentially brutal relegation battle in the coming weeks. Every point will matter, and nerves will be frayed.

Looking closer, TÜMOSAN Konyaspor, currently 13th with 20 points, are in a particularly concerning slump. Their last league win came all the way back on October 26, 2025, against Gençlerbirliği. That's a long drought. To make matters worse, they've cycled through three different coaches – Recep Uçar, Çağdaş Atan, and İlhan Palut – during this winless 11-match stretch. Talk about instability! You have to feel for the fans.

Kasımpaşa, sitting precariously in the relegation zone at 16th place, are in a similar boat. They've also managed just one victory since October 2025, and are currently enduring an eight-match winless streak. Coaching changes haven't helped here either. Şota Arveladze and Emre Belözoğlu have both tried their hand at turning things around.

There are a few glimmers of hope, however. Fatih Karagümrük, who are rock bottom in 18th place with 12 points, recently snapped an eight-match winless run with a narrow 1-0 victory over Antalyaspor. Small victories like that can be massive for morale. Gaziantep FK also ended a seven-match winless run, edging out Kasımpaşa 2-1.

At the other end of the spectrum, Galatasaray is riding high on a nine-match unbeaten streak. With 16 wins, 4 draws, and just 1 loss, they sit atop the Süper Lig standings with 52 points. Fenerbahçe, breathing down their necks in second place with 49 points, remains the only undefeated team in the league. This title race is going to be a nail-biter, no doubt about it.
