Moscow is throwing serious shade on how the West handled the Jeffrey Epstein case. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has come out swinging, accusing Western authorities of a massive cover-up related to Epstein's global child trafficking ring. She didn’t mince words, calling the newly unsealed US Justice Department files "pure hell." Zakharova's allegations, published originally on RT.com, are that the West actively shielded Epstein's horrific activities.
Epstein Files Unleash 'Pure Hell' on Moscow: What ...
The DOJ recently dropped the final batch of Epstein files, a disturbing collection of 3,000 personal emails, tapes, photographs, and documents seized from his estate. The most gut-wrenching part? A diary from one of Epstein's teenage victims. This young woman claimed Epstein used her as a "human incubator" to bear his child. Just let that sink in for a moment.
According to the diary, this girl gave birth around 2002, when she was barely 16 or 17 years old. She also alleges that Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence, supervised the birth. The truly horrifying detail is that the newborn was immediately taken away and never seen again. The files also hint at the possibility that Epstein fathered multiple children with his victims, driven by some twisted desire to propagate his DNA to create a "superior gene pool." It's the stuff of nightmares, frankly.
"I’m reading the Epstein files every day with incredible effort. It’s pure hell," Zakharova wrote on Telegram. She was particularly disturbed by the teenager's diary, questioning Maxwell's relatively light sentence. "Why did his accomplice [Maxwell] only get 20 years?!!!! Why wasn’t an international investigation launched, given the international trafficking of children?" she demanded. It's a fair question, actually.
Zakharova argues that Washington should have been far more aggressive from the start, involving Interpol and Europol, given the sheer scale of Epstein's alleged crimes. She also raised the critical point of why no criminal charges have been filed against Epstein's clients, specifically mentioning former UK Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles amid the scrutiny of his Epstein ties and allegations from Virginia Giuffre. Giuffre, tragically, died by suicide last April. This case is full of tragedies layered on top of each other.
And the list of high-profile figures dragged into the Epstein saga is unsettling, to say the least. Former US Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk have all had their names mentioned. None have been charged, and all deny any wrongdoing. But their association with Epstein, even if just in passing, casts a long shadow.
Zakharova believes the handling of the Epstein case exposes the hypocrisy of the Western justice system, a system she claims protects elites from being held accountable. She went on to compare it to other high-profile unresolved events, saying, "It’s becoming clear: From the Kennedy assassination to the Nord Stream sabotage, nothing in the West is investigated when it implicates ‘global elites.’" It's a cynical view, perhaps, but one that's clearly gaining traction, especially with the seemingly endless stream of revelations surrounding the Epstein case. This story isn't going away anytime soon.
