Epstein Files: New email shows Ghislaine Maxwell explains controversial photo of Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre

Maxwell's SHOCKING Email: Truth Behind Prince Andr...

The drip, drip, drip of information coming from the Epstein case continues. Newly released U.S. justice records have revealed a 2015 draft email in which Ghislaine Maxwell detailed her version of events surrounding that incredibly controversial photograph linking Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre. And let me tell you, it's a doozy.

This document, exchanged between Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein as allegations swirled around them both, directly contradicts previous denials and is sure to intensify the scrutiny already heaped upon Prince Andrew's narrative. More importantly, though, Giuffre's family is hailing the email as a long-awaited vindication after years of what I can only imagine has been an agonizing dispute. Seeing it from their perspective, any little bit of truth is welcome, I'm sure.

The records, freshly released by the U.S. Department of Justice, include the email in which Maxwell appears to explain the circumstances surrounding the long-disputed photo. You know the one: Prince Andrew with his arm around a very young Virginia Giuffre.

The message, marked as a "draft statement," was sent by Maxwell to Epstein back in 2015 as those allegations against both of them really started to heat up. While Giuffre's name is redacted throughout the document (the legal dance never ends, does it?), the details – references to London in 2001, Prince Andrew, and the specific taking of a photograph – strongly suggest Maxwell was talking about her.

According to the BBC, Maxwell wrote that she was present in London when the woman met "a number of friends," including Andrew, and that the photograph was taken during that encounter. "In 2001, I was in London when (redacted) met a number of friends of mine, including Prince Andrew. A photograph was taken as I imagine she wanted to show it to friends and family," Maxwell wrote. It's a strangely innocent explanation, given the context, isn't it?

Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors, went on to state that Andrew had visited her home and that the woman was there at the same time. She wrote, "Prince Andrew came to my house to visit me – (redacted) was in the house and they did meet." She's basically admitting to arranging the encounter, isn't she?

In the same draft, Maxwell insisted that nothing improper occurred. She added that she had no knowledge of the woman "having sexual activity" with Andrew or any other "famous people," framing her account as a factual record of events. That's a tough sell, given her track record, wouldn't you say?

Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sexually abusing her on three occasions in 2001 and 2002 – allegations he has consistently denied – died by suicide in 2025. This email adds yet another layer of complexity to a case that already has far too many. It's hard to know where the truth lies, but these new revelations are certainly not helping Prince Andrew's case.
