Performance powerhouse ATEEZ is gearing up to inject a shot of "Adrenaline" straight into the K-pop scene this Friday with the release of their 13th mini album, "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4." The group is clearly aiming to cement their position as a global force, and judging by their recent successes, they're well on their way.

ATEEZ, for those unfamiliar, debuted back in October 2018 under KQ Entertainment – a relatively small agency at the time. Since then, they've carved out a niche with their performance-heavy, high-energy music. Comprised of Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho, this eight-member group has been making waves with tracks like "Crazy Form," "BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILI PEPPERS)" and "Work." I remember when "BOUNCY" first dropped – the sheer energy was infectious!

Their global rise has been quite something to witness. 2025 was a particularly significant year, with their title tracks "Lemon Drop" and "In Your Fantasy," from "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3" and its repackage, respectively, landing on the Billboard Hot 100 – at No. 69 and 68, no less. They also managed to snag spots in five different categories on Billboard's 2025 year-end charts, which is a testament to their growing popularity and impact.

And it's not just the charts; ATEEZ recently wrapped up their 2025 world tour, "IN YOUR FANTASY," kicking things off in Incheon before hitting 12 cities across North America and three in Japan. The tour isn't over yet, though! They're scheduled to continue in 2026, bringing their high-octane performances to Asia and Australia, including their very first standalone concerts in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Macau. That's exciting news for fans in those regions!

Ahead of the album's official launch, all eight members gathered at a press conference in Yeouido, Seoul, on Thursday to chat about this latest installment of the "GOLDEN HOUR" series and where they see themselves heading. "This is our first album of the year and also our first since renewing our contracts, so there was both excitement and pressure," leader Hongjoong admitted, adding, "We prepared it with the goal of showing a different side of ourselves." He also expressed their hopes that 2026 would be a "golden year" for the group.

According to KQ Entertainment, "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4" is all about ATEEZ's "resolve to move forward" while staying true to their convictions, even when facing challenges. Seonghwa emphasized that they approached this project with a renewed sense of urgency, reminiscent of their early days. "We prepared this album with the same feelings we had when we debuted years ago," he said.

The album itself features five tracks: the title track "Adrenaline," alongside "Ghost," "NASA," "On The Road," and "Choose." Notably, Hongjoong and Mingi are credited as lyricists on all five songs, highlighting their continued dedication to crafting their own music. "Adrenaline" is described as having a heavy, metallic beat and showcasing the group's signature performance skills, blending powerful vocals with precise rap verses. I, for one, am eager to hear it!
