Gamers Slayed Millions DRUNK?! What Happened Next Is UNBELIEVABLE!
Gaming News 04 February 2026

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 just celebrated its first birthday, and Warhorse Studios decided to mark the occasion with some rather… revealing player statistics. Turns out, Henry of Skalitz, and by extension, all of us playing him, have been up to some interesting things in medieval Bohemia. Specifically, we've been doing a lot of killing. And a surprising amount of it while completely plastered.

Gamers Slayed Millions DRUNK?! What Happened Next ...

The head-turning stat? A whopping 5.4 million enemies met their end at the hands of a thoroughly intoxicated Henry. Let's be honest, we’ve all been there in a game, right? Maybe not on that scale, but that urge to charge into a fray after a few too many virtual tankards is… relatable. It really does make you wonder what kind of tactical advantages, if any, excessive alcohol consumption provides in 15th-century combat.

Warhorse dropped this gem, and a few others, in an infographic shared on X. Alongside the staggering kill count, they also revealed that players showed mercy to a grand total of 97.5 million characters. Now, that sounds like a lot of compassion, doesn’t it? Until you stack it up against the total body count. Henry and his merry band of players managed to eliminate a staggering 452.8 million enemies. That’s a whole lot of bloodshed in Bohemia.

"One year on from the release of #KCD2 and we don’t know about you, but we’re still hungry," Warhorse tweeted, adding a heartfelt, "Here’s to everyone who’s joined the adventure, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you! 🩵". And I think that perfectly sums up how developers feel about their player base. It's those hours we pour into their worlds, the stories we create (and the drunken battles we wage), that keep them going.

Of course, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is all about choice. You can play Henry as a virtuous knight, a cunning rogue, or, apparently, a perpetually tipsy warrior. While the game allows for non-lethal playthroughs, and even pacifist runs, the sheer number of digital deaths suggests that most players have embraced the more… direct approach. Look, I get it. Sometimes, you just need to swing a sword (preferably after a hearty meal and maybe one ale too many).

You can find more details about the game and other player statistics over at GameSpot. It's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the game, or just appreciate some truly wild gaming stats. Cheers to another year of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – and may your swords stay sharp (and your character occasionally sober).
