Title: Joshua Jackson Reunites with Greg Berlanti in HBO Max's 'How To Survive Without Me'

Hold on to your hats, *Dawson's Creek* fans! In a move that's sure to spark some serious nostalgia, Joshua Jackson is set to star in the HBO Max drama pilot *How To Survive Without Me*, marking a reunion with his former *Creek* collaborator, the prolific Greg Berlanti. This definitely piqued my interest, and I think it should pique yours too.

Joshua Jackson's SHOCKING Return! 'Dawson's Creek'...

Jackson, best known for his role as Pacey Witter, will be joining Ray Romano in the series, which is penned by Berlanti and Bash Doran from a story they cooked up with Robbie Rogers. The show centers around the De Angelis family who are, well, a bit lost after the passing of their matriarch, Beverly. And that's where things get interesting.

Apparently, Beverly, even in death, has a plan. She's orchestrated a way to keep a guiding hand on her family from beyond the grave. To experience her final act, the family must find ways to stay connected and support each other. Seems like a recipe for both heartwarming moments and maybe a bit of wacky drama. I can already picture the family squabbles and the eventual, inevitable bonding.

The connection between Jackson and Berlanti goes way back. Berlanti started his television journey as a writer on *Dawson’s Creek*, a show that gave Jackson his breakthrough role. Berlanti quickly rose through the ranks, becoming executive producer and showrunner in just one year. The two have remained friends, even reuniting at last year's *Dawson's Creek* reunion. It's cool to see that bond is still strong.

Sarah Aubrey, Head of Max Original Programming, expressed her excitement about Jackson joining the cast, noting the special significance of his reunion with Berlanti. "It’s especially exciting to see him reunite with creator Greg Berlanti on this intimate, family-driven story," she said. Clancy Collins White, President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Television echoed this sentiment, highlighting the balance Jackson will bring to the show's emotional depth.

Before diving into this new project, Jackson has been keeping busy. He recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s *Doctor Odyssey* on ABC and is also set to appear alongside another *Dawson's Creek* alum, Katie Holmes, in the upcoming movie *Happy Hours*. So, plenty of reasons to keep an eye on this talented actor.

With Berlanti's track record and Jackson's talent, *How To Survive Without Me* has the potential to be a real hit. I’ll definitely be tuning in to see what kind of family drama – and maybe even a little ghostly guidance – unfolds. Will Beverly's posthumous meddling bring the family closer or tear them apart? Only time will tell.
