Movies & TV Series 01 February 2026

Alright folks, the music world is buzzing because the 2026 Grammy Awards are officially underway! Here in Los Angeles, the Recording Academy is handing out the golden gramophones to celebrate the past year's absolute best in music. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, with a whopping 95 categories to get through. I always find it fascinating how diverse the categories are – it really highlights the sheer breadth of musical talent out there.

The Premiere Ceremony kicked things off earlier this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET (that's 12:30 p.m. here on the West Coast). That’s where the bulk of the awards are actually given out, before the big primetime show. Honestly, sometimes I think the real excitement is in the Premiere Ceremony – you get to see some genuinely surprised and emotional winners. These categories are just as important as the televised ones, and it’s a chance to really celebrate the craft. I’ve seen some seriously moving acceptance speeches there in the past.

Now, the main event – the primetime show – starts at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at the Crypto.com Arena. Yes, still called that, surprisingly! CBS and Paramount+ are broadcasting it live, so get your snacks ready. Trevor Noah is back as host, and he’s usually good for a few laughs. The energy in that arena is always electric; you can practically feel the anticipation radiating off everyone there.

All eyes are on Kendrick Lamar tonight. He's leading the nominations with a staggering nine nods, including the big three: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. If he has a good night, he could actually surpass Jay-Z for the most Grammy wins by a rapper. That would be a historic moment, no doubt about it. Talk about pressure! You can tell he's in it to win it.

We'll be updating the winners list below as the night progresses, so keep refreshing the page for the latest. In the meantime, remember to keep it civil in the comments section. We want to hear your thoughts, but let's keep the discussion on topic, factual, and respectful. Nobody likes a troll, especially on Grammy night! It should be a great night for music fans.
