DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy firm, identified the bus as belonging to them and carrying their employees home after their shift. This latest incident follows a string of attacks across Ukraine on Sunday. In Zaporizhzhia, a maternity hospital was hit, injuring six people, including two women who were undergoing medical examinations at the time. I can't even imagine the terror they must have felt. Regional head Ivan Fedorov took to Telegram to condemn the hospital attack, calling it undeniable "proof of a war directed against life." He assured the public that all the injured were receiving the necessary medical care.

Adding to the day's grim toll, officials reported three more fatalities in separate attacks in Kherson, in the south, and the central city of Dnipro. It paints a picture of a country under relentless pressure, a nation constantly bracing for the next strike. Since January, Russia has been focusing its attacks on Ukraine's power grid, a tactic that's having a devastating impact as temperatures plummet.
