Iron Circus Comics: 6 New Graphic Novels Will SHOCK You!
Tech Product Reviews 27 January 2026

Iron Circus Comics, known for its innovative approach to publishing and community-driven funding, has just dropped a bombshell: a sneak peek at their 2026 graphic novel lineup. And let me tell you, it’s diverse! From sprawling fantasy epics to deeply personal coming-of-age stories, there's something here for pretty much everyone. This announcement comes at a pivotal time for the comic book industry, especially given the recent shake-ups, like Diamond's bankruptcy last year, that have definitely left their mark.

Iron Circus Comics: 6 New Graphic Novels Will SHOC...

One title that immediately grabbed my attention is "Sleeping Wizards," a D&D-inspired fantasy adventure cooked up by writer Rusty Marcum, artist Johanna Taylor, and letterer Jodie Troutman. Marcum's enthusiasm is infectious: "I’ve always wanted to work on a D&D-inspired fantasy comic...Iron Circus is doing incredible things in the indie comics space, and I’m so excited to be part of it!” It sounds like a wild ride, and I’m already picturing epic battles and quirky characters.

Then there’s "RUNAWAY TO THE STARS," which promises a sci-fi adventure centered around Talita, an alien struggling to find her place in a human world. The description hints at a story packed with world-building and character depth, and the creator seems incredibly passionate about bringing this vision to life. It's the kind of story that explores themes of belonging and identity, which is something I think a lot of readers connect with. After all, who *hasn't* felt like an outsider at some point?

For those with a taste for the macabre, Iron Circus is also teasing a graphic novel centered on the terrifying Goblin Queen, and the doom that comes with gazing upon her. Let's face it, we all love a good horror story! This feels like it might be a darker offering compared to the others, which will broaden their range.

And that's not all! Ashley Cope's long-running webcomic, "Unsounded," will be getting the Iron Circus treatment with printed editions of Volumes Three & Four. Apparently, this is the first time this material will be available in print, which is a huge win for fans of the series. Expect gangsters, snakemen, and even "six-titted bird goddesses"—sounds like a party! Lastly, S.E. Case’s "RIGSBY WI," a coming-of-age story, continues with Book 3, “Flux.” Case describes the book as a story of teen relationships and "rural queerness" offering "catharsis to readers."

It's inspiring to see smaller publishers like Iron Circus not only surviving but thriving in this evolving landscape. Their commitment to creator-owned projects and their clever use of crowdfunding are clearly paying off. While we eagerly wait for 2026, don't forget to check out IGN's best comic book of 2025 and other buzzworthy titles slated for release next year. The comic book world is anything but boring right now!
