Ferrari & FerMas: 20 Years Strong, But What's NEXT?!

Ferrari & FerMas: 20 Years Strong, But What's NEXT?!
Automotive 24 January 2026

Ferrari is gearing up to launch its stunning new Amalfi model in Turkey next month, and the timing couldn't be better. This isn't just another car launch; it's a celebration of two decades of partnership between the iconic Italian automaker and FerMas, its Turkish distributor. The Amalfi, a front-mid-engine V8 2+ coupe, promises to inject a healthy dose of Italian flair into the Turkish automotive scene.

Ferrari & FerMas: 20 Years Strong, But What's NEXT...

Marco Sambaldi, a key figure at Ferrari, emphasized the importance of the long-standing relationship. "The 20-year partnership with FerMas is a great privilege for us," he stated. "FerMas has always been an important partner. We thank FerMas for representing us so well for so long. They carry out this representation extremely successfully, both in this country and in this market. We want to emphasize to our customers that we are a community, this is a very important value for us, and FerMas represents our brand extremely well in this respect." It's clear that Ferrari values not just sales figures, but the community and brand representation that FerMas brings to the table.

I think that speaks volumes about how carefully Ferrari chooses its partners. You don't just get to sell Ferraris; you become part of something bigger. It sounds a little cliché, but having seen Ferrari enthusiasts in action, I can tell you, there's a definite sense of belonging. Sambaldi also hinted at the Amalfi's design inspiration, noting that it reflects the "Dolce Vita" of the 70s, a nod to that iconic Italian lifestyle.

Güçlü Yakal, FerMas Company Manager, provided a bit of history, reminding us that FerMas was established by Tofaş back in 2005. "Our opening took place on August 18, 2005, with a ceremony attended by Michael Schumacher, one of the legendary Formula 1 drivers," Yakal said. "Twenty years is a significant period in such a valuable business line. As Marco Sambaldi said, Ferrari is not just a sports car, but a very special community." He also highlighted the prime location of their showroom on the Bosphorus and their accessible service center in Vadi Istanbul, emphasizing their commitment to providing top-tier service. That Bosphorus location, by the way, is absolutely breathtaking – it’s the perfect backdrop for a car as stunning as a Ferrari.

Now, let's talk about the car itself. The Amalfi isn't just about looks; it packs a serious punch. We're talking 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and 0-200 km/h in just 9.0 seconds, thanks to a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio. Ferrari is touting a dual cockpit layout, a new steering wheel with physical buttons (a welcome change for some, I'm sure!), and the return of the iconic start button. The aim? A flawless driving experience. FerMas is already taking pre-orders, and initial deliveries are slated for February. Get those wallets ready, folks!
