But hey, I'm not complaining! More Mario is always a good thing, especially when it involves one of my personal favorite entries in the franchise, "Super Mario Galaxy."

Now, before you get your hopes up for a potential game announcement alongside the movie news, Nintendo has been crystal clear about this: this Direct is strictly about the film. A statement on their website explicitly states that "no game information will be included in this presentation." So, temper those expectations if you were dreaming of a "Super Mario Galaxy 3" reveal or even a tie-in game.

The last Direct gave us a glimpse at some key new characters joining the Mushroom Kingdom crew on the big screen. We saw our first look at Brie Larson as the enigmatic Rosalina, a casting choice I'm still incredibly excited about. Plus, we got to see Bowser Jr., voiced by none other than Benny Safdie!
