Well, folks, it looks like the Triforce has blessed us with an early peek at something truly special: a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Lego set! The internet's buzzing after leaked images surfaced, and if they're legit (and all signs point to "yes"), prepare to empty your wallets.
Zelda Lego Leak: Ganon's Terrifying Look Revealed!...
Word on the street, specifically from the folks over at Brick Tap, is that the set will be officially called "The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time." And boy, does it look epic. We're talking brick-built Ganon, towering and menacing, brandishing those iconic twin blades. Seriously, even in Lego form, he looks like a formidable foe. And of course, Link is there, ready to rumble with the Master Sword in hand. You can almost hear the triumphant music swelling in your head just looking at it. Princess Zelda is also part of the scene, apparently radiating some kind of Lego-fied light beam. Pretty cool touch, if you ask me.
Beyond the main players, the leaked images suggest we'll also get accessories like the Megaton Hammer and a few recovery hearts. Because even heroes need a little health boost now and then, right? The rumor mill is churning with a potential release date of March 1st. So, you know, start preparing your Hylian Rupees... or your credit card, I guess. It's going to be close.
This isn't Lego's first dance with Nintendo, of course. We just saw the official unveiling of those much-anticipated Pokémon sets. Remember the Pikachu and Poké Ball? The Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Eevee models? Pretty sweet stuff. I even noticed some flippers trying to make a quick buck on eBay with the Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection, that freebie they were giving out with the big Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise preorder. The resale market is always on top of these things, isn't it?
But back to Hyrule! As a lifelong Zelda fan, I’m genuinely excited about this Ocarina of Time set. The Final Battle is such an iconic moment, and seeing it rendered in Lego bricks… well, it just hits different. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go start clearing some shelf space. And maybe practice my Ocarina skills. For good luck, obviously.
