New Dacia Sandero Arrives in Turkey, Starting at ₺1.24 Million

The Dacia Sandero, a familiar face to European drivers, has just landed in Turkey with a fresh new look and a price tag starting at ₺1,240,000. This isn’t just a minor facelift; Dacia's given the Sandero a proper overhaul, aiming to capture the hearts (and wallets) of Turkish drivers looking for a practical and stylish city car.

New Dacia Sandero SHOCKS Turkey With Its Price! Yo...

For those unfamiliar, the Sandero isn't some obscure newcomer. It's been a sales juggernaut in Europe for years, consistently topping charts. In fact, it was Europe's best-selling retail car since 2017, and in 2024, it even managed to snag the title of best-selling model across *all* sales channels. Pretty impressive, right? Now, after exceeding 300,000 annual sales (a first for a Dacia model!), it’s finally hitting Turkish roads in early 2026.

What’s new, you ask? Well, the exterior gets the most noticeable changes. Dacia's latest design language is on full display, and it's a definite improvement. We're talking inverted Y-shaped LED lights both front and rear, a new pixel-inspired grille, and redesigned bumpers. All of these tweaks combine to give the Sandero a more modern and assertive presence. And for those who like a splash of color, there are two new metallic shades available: Amber Yellow and Sand Beige. I have to say, the Amber Yellow looks particularly striking in the press photos.

Under the hood, the new Sandero packs a 1.0 TCe 100 three-cylinder gasoline engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It’s not a powerhouse, but with 100 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, it should be plenty adequate for zipping around town and even tackling longer journeys. Dacia claims an average fuel consumption of 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers, which sounds pretty economical – definitely a plus in today's climate.

Dacia is offering the new Sandero in two main trim levels: Essential and Expression. The Essential trim is your basic, no-frills option, with 15-inch wheel covers, manual air conditioning, and the Media Control infotainment system. Step up to the Expression trim, and you'll get some nicer touches, like 16-inch Atara flexwheel rims, automatic air conditioning, a rearview camera, a 10-inch touchscreen multimedia display, and wireless smartphone mirroring. Inside, the Expression trim also gets some unique fabric details that add a touch of sophistication.

Safety hasn’t been ignored either. The new Sandero boasts up to 17 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which is a pretty comprehensive suite. And a clever "My Safety" button lets drivers quickly customize their preferred safety settings. In terms of practicality, the Sandero offers a luggage capacity of 410 liters, which expands to a generous 1,455 liters with the rear seats folded down. Plus, the YouClip connection system adds modularity for phones, tablets, and other accessories. It seems like Dacia has really thought about the details. Time will tell how well it's received by Turkish consumers, but on paper, the new Sandero looks like a serious contender in the compact car market.
