It's Friday, folks, and give yourselves a pat on the back – you've survived another week! Over here at Game Informer HQ, we've been burning the midnight oil, churning out content like there's no tomorrow. Think previews, reviews, exclusive interviews, and of course, the relentless tide of gaming news. Oh, and let's not forget the behind-the-scenes magic of proofing and editing the next issue of our beloved magazine.
Code Vein 2?! Lies of P Secrets REVEALED This Week...
And speaking of the magazine... it's got [REDACTED] splashed across the cover. Seriously, it's a stunner. The story inside is equally impressive, packed with juicy game development details that are exclusive to our pages. Also, exciting news! This very article marks the debut of "This Week On GI" right here on the website! For those of you already subscribed to our newsletter, you'll know what's up – but this is something entirely new and improved.
As the humble writer of that very newsletter, I wholeheartedly recommend subscribing, by the way. It's where I let my hair down and inject a bit more personality into things. The aim with "This Week On GI" is simple: to give you something to look forward to every Friday, a neat little package that not only catches you up on all things Game Informer but also organizes all the stories we dropped throughout the week. Because let's face it, life gets hectic, and ain't nobody got time to constantly refresh the greatest video game website ever (that's us, naturally).
Below you'll find our usual Game Informer housekeeping section, followed by the good stuff: the article round-up.

Many of you should have already received our latest magazine, the one with *World of Warcraft: Midnight* gracing the cover. It's a bit of a beast – an extra-large edition packed to the brim with our Game of the Year coverage, Editor's Top 10 lists, and more. We poured our hearts and souls into it, so we truly hope you enjoy reading it. If it hasn't landed in your mailbox yet, fret not! It's on its way.
We're still aware that some of you experienced shipping issues back in 2025, and we're still working hard to resolve those lingering problems. That whole government shutdown really threw a wrench in the postal service across the country, seriously impacting our shipping processes. It wasn't your fault, and we sincerely apologize for any hassle or stress it caused. Thankfully, with the *World of Warcraft: Midnight* issue, things seem to be running smoothly again.
And what's coming next? I can't spill the beans just yet about the game that'll be gracing the next cover, but trust me, you're going to want to get your hands on it. Plus, it includes a massive round-up of our most anticipated games of 2026 and beyond, making it a must-have for anyone who likes to plan out their gaming year (guilty as charged!). If you're not already a subscriber, there's still time to sign up and snag this awesome issue – you can subscribe right here.
