Life is Strange Fans Rejoice! Chloe's Back - But There's a Twist?!
Tech Product Reviews 08 January 2026

Okay, Life is Strange fans, brace yourselves. It looks like the rumors are true, and Chloe Price is officially making a comeback! News broke today thanks to a (perhaps premature?) listing on the European ratings board, PEGI, revealing the existence of a brand new game titled "Life is Strange: Reunion." And yes, you read that right, it seems like Chloe is at the center of it all.

Life is Strange Fans Rejoice! Chloe's Back - But T...

For those who aren't completely immersed in the world of Arcadia Bay, Chloe's fate in the original "Life is Strange" was...complicated. Let's just say player choice had a huge impact on whether she lived or died. So, the fact that she's back is already sparking major excitement (and probably some anxiety) amongst the fanbase. This has been a long time coming, with whispers and theories circulating ever since Deck Nine, the talented folks behind "Before the Storm" and "True Colors," hinted at something big in the works.

What's particularly interesting about "Reunion" is how it addresses the elephant in the room: Chloe's potential demise. According to the leaked PEGI description, "Chloe Price was Max Caulfield's partner in time. Losing her is Max's greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max's help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus." So, it looks like Max's past is coming back to haunt her, literally.

Now, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with Deck Nine's last outing, "Double Exposure." Bringing Max back was great, but the whole timeline where Chloe survived but was completely out of Max's life felt…off. Especially for those of us who were really invested in the Max and Chloe dynamic. Seeing them broken up just felt like a punch to the gut. It seems like Deck Nine is taking the criticisms to heart this time, and giving fans what they've been clamoring for.

The premise sounds intriguing – Chloe appearing with fragmented memories, a deadly fire looming, and Max once again thrust into the thick of it. The PEGI listing also mentions a digital deluxe version with extra outfits, which is pretty standard fare these days. No official launch date has been announced yet, but given the ratings board leak, I'd expect to see an official trailer and release date very soon. Get ready, LiS fans, it's time to return to the strange and emotional world we all love, and hopefully, this time, Chloe gets the happy ending she deserves. Fingers crossed!
