But there's some interesting technology under the hood here.

The announcement is timed almost perfectly, hitting the news cycle almost two years after Nvidia first teased G-Sync Pulsar. This tech is all about strobing that backlight, minimizing how long old images linger on your retina. Think of it like quickly flashing a light to make a fast-moving object appear sharper – only much more sophisticated.
Originally, we were told to expect this tech in Asus' ROG Swift PG27 series by the end of the year. Now, Nvidia is saying the first four G-Sync Pulsar-powered monitors will be hitting select retailers starting this very Wednesday. So, keep your eyes peeled, and your wallets ready.
What exactly are we talking about? These initial Pulsar-enabled monitors are all 27-inch IPS panels, sporting a crisp 1440p resolution and refresh rates topping out at 360 Hz. Ultimately, G-Sync Pulsar looks like a potential step forward, especially for high-end competitive gamers sensitive to motion blur.
