LAS VEGAS – The tech world is abuzz here at CES 2026, and Samsung just dropped a bombshell: the Galaxy Book 6 series. Powering these sleek machines are Intel's brand-new Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Now, I'm not a chip expert, but I'm told these are a big deal. They're built on Intel's cutting-edge 18A process, promising improved power efficiency and a noticeable jump in performance. Samsung is also touting enhanced thermal control, meaning hopefully, no more laptops sounding like tiny jet engines when you're just trying to browse the web. We've all been there, right?

For those who crave serious graphical horsepower, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is packing NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 graphics cards. Samsung claims a "significantly enhanced visual experience" compared to previous models, and I'm eager to put that to the test.

The displays are also getting a major upgrade. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display now supports up to a whopping 1,000 nits of HDR brightness.
