Title: Every Outfit I Wore Last Month: December

December, as captured through my wardrobe, turned out to be a whirlwind of festive cheer! Looking back at the month's ensembles, it's clear that holiday celebrations significantly influenced my style choices. There was a distinct leaning towards vibrant colours, interesting patterns, and a mix of textures that felt both luxurious and comfortable – a crucial balance during the busy holiday season, if you ask me!

The outfits weren't just about bold statements; there was a conscious effort to blend sparkle with more understated, softer pieces. This created a nice contrast and prevented any single outfit from feeling overwhelming. Think a statement Charlotte Simone coat paired with classic Frame jeans and Jimmy Choo boots. Or a vibrant Ulla Johnson sweater balanced by Chanel flats. It's all about finding that sweet spot.

Jewellery and accessories definitely played a starring role, acting as the finishing touch that pulled everything together. A delicate JB x Jennifer Behr necklace or a Gigi Burris hat added a touch of finesse to otherwise simple looks. It’s amazing how a well-chosen accessory can elevate an entire outfit, transforming it from casual to chic in an instant. And, let's be honest, during the holidays, a little bit of extra sparkle never hurts!

One recurring theme throughout the month was the love for coats. From a classic Leo Season coat layered over a Tove turtleneck and Toteme pants, to a striking Nour Hammour coat, outerwear was definitely a key component. Living in a colder climate necessitates a good coat collection, but it's also a fantastic opportunity to express your personal style. Who says practicality can't be fashionable?

Of course, Chanel flats made a few appearances – they’re a timeless classic for a reason! And let’s not forget the various Hermes bags, adding a touch of understated luxury to several outfits. While I do love a good statement piece, I also appreciate the value of investing in well-made, versatile pieces that can be styled in multiple ways. A classic bag or a comfortable pair of flats are always a good investment, in my opinion.

Overall, my December wardrobe was a reflection of the season's heightened energy and celebratory ambiance. It was about embracing colour, texture, and a touch of sparkle while maintaining a sense of personal style and comfort. It was festive, expressive, and, most importantly, fun! Now, onto planning the January wardrobe… time to embrace the post-holiday calm!
