Togg, the Turkish electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is setting its sights on even loftier goals for 2026, buoyed by what they're calling a successful 2025. According to the company, last year saw them achieve their short, medium, and long-term roadmap objectives. It's always good to see a plan come together, isn't it?
Togg's HUGE 2025 Goal: Can They REALLY Hit 88,000 ...
Speaking on the 2025 performance, Togg Chairman Fuat Tosyalı zeroed in on the brand’s entry into the European market, specifically highlighting the launch in Germany. "After seven years of dedicated planning, we achieved a historic milestone by producing a smart car with complete intellectual property rights belonging to our country," Tosyalı said. "We were delighted to introduce our second model, the T10F, to consumers, following the success of our first all-electric smart car, the T10X." It's a point of national pride, and rightly so.
Apparently, Togg is serious about safety. Both the T10X and T10F models achieved a 5-star safety rating in Euro NCAP tests. That's a pretty significant achievement and places them among the safest vehicles you can find on European roads. "We have made both the T10X and T10F models available to users in Germany, in addition to Turkey," Tosyalı confirmed.
The company is aiming to really make a splash in Europe. "We are working diligently to become one of the most preferred brands in the European market, alongside Turkey's growing electric vehicle ecosystem," Tosyalı stated. In Germany, they appear to be taking a measured approach. Tosyalı mentioned securing 240 sales contracts in November and December of last year, with 144 vehicles delivered by the end of the year. Steady growth, if you ask me.
Tosyalı also pointed out the T10X’s strong performance in 2025, and noted the "significant interest" in the T10F. But it's not just about current models; they're thinking long-term. "Furthermore, we are focused on increasing the Togg options we offer to our users with new models in different classes in the coming years," he added. "What is truly valuable to us is that our cars grow by establishing a long-term relationship of trust with users." That focus on building trust, rather than just pushing sales, is a smart move in this increasingly competitive market.
And it seems they're listening to their customers. Togg claims a 34% improvement in user-sourced quality feedback compared to the previous year, after continuously improving their T10X model. "We launched our second smart device, the T10F, at a better starting level in terms of quality indicators compared to the initial launch period of the T10X," Tosyalı explained. "This is a concrete result of the lessons we have learned in our product development, production and quality management processes." That kind of iterative improvement is exactly what you want to see.
Beyond the cars themselves, Togg is also invested in the charging infrastructure through Trugo, which provides ultra-fast charging across Turkey. Tosyalı stated that Trugo has facilitated 5 million successful charging transactions since April 2023, establishing itself as a market leader. A reliable charging network is essential for EV adoption, so this is a critical piece of the puzzle. Clearly, Togg is playing the long game, aiming to establish itself as a major player in the global EV landscape. Only time will tell if they succeed, but they're certainly off to a promising start.
