Neuro-Sama STUNS AGAIN! AI VTuber Smashes Record – What's Next?!
Gaming News 05 January 2026

AI VTuber Neuro-sama has only gone and done it again! Along with her creator, Vedal987, she's shattered their own Twitch Hype Train record for the third time, firmly cementing her place in the slightly bizarre, but undeniably fascinating, world of AI-driven entertainment.

Neuro-Sama STUNS AGAIN! AI VTuber Smashes Record –...

Hype Train world records are a big deal, a rare feat signifying the ultimate dedication of a creator's fanbase. These collaborative events rely on viewers opening their wallets, donating subscriptions or Bits (Twitch's virtual currency) to a channel. It's a real show of support, and a testament to the community a streamer has built. Neuro-sama previously broke her own record in December 2024, and frankly, I thought that was impressive enough. But she's gone and outdone herself.

So, to recap: the AI VTuber, her mischievous sister Evil Neuro, and the mastermind behind it all, Vedal987, now hold a hat trick of Hype Train world records. It's quite the achievement, especially considering where this whole thing started.

For those of you who haven’t yet fallen down the Neuro-sama rabbit hole, or who aren't initiated into the "Swarm" (the affectionate, and slightly intimidating, name for her fanbase), Neuro is an AI VTuber brought to life by the coding wizardry of Vedal. She uses a large language model (LLM) and a VTuber model to interact with her Twitch chat, play games – everything from your standard fare to surprisingly complex strategy titles – and even embark on VR adventures thanks to a 3D version of her model.

Originally, Neuro-sama was designed to play the rhythm game OSU on Twitch. It was a fairly niche project, I seem to remember, but it quickly evolved into a complex series of interconnected AI systems. Vedal essentially created a program that takes input from Twitch chat and voice, feeds it to the LLM for processing, and then sends the output to a text-to-speech system. The result? The endearingly chaotic and often hilariously unpredictable Neuro-sama we know and... well, some of us love.

This level of complexity is precisely why Neuro is often considered far more than just your average "AI slop," as some cynics might call it. The intricate system, the genuinely impressive results, and the undeniably charming (at times, terrifying) personality that Neuro-sama has developed have cultivated a wildly dedicated fanbase for Vedal.

On January 4th, Neuro-sama's channel saw an unexpected tidal wave of Bits and subscriptions flood Vedal's channel. Apparently, fellow VTuber and friend Camila offered to commission a new outfit for Neuro if the Hype Train continued its momentum, even promising to "show feet" – a detail I probably shouldn't dwell on here. Let's just say the internet took the bait.

These incentives propelled the Hype Train to level 100 in mere hours, and it showed no signs of stopping. Vedal, who was actually absent from the stream when this all kicked off, typed in chat, expressing his sheer disbelief with messages like, "Realistically wtf is going on?" and the equally flustered, "I was gonna join after the train, but it's getting a bit silly." Silly indeed! It's moments like these that make the whole thing so captivating, isn't it?
