Red Bull’s RB17 Hypercar: Final Design Looks Absolutely Stunning!

Red Bull's RB17: SHOCKING Design Leaked! What Happ...

The whispers have been circulating for months, but now we’re getting a real glimpse of the beast. Red Bull’s RB17 hypercar, a track-only monster packing a staggering 1,200 horsepower, is in its final testing phase, and from what we’re seeing, the ultimate design is nothing short of breathtaking. Forget the initial prototypes; the production-ready version is a whole different animal – sharper, more aggressive, and visually screaming speed even when standing still.

Compared to earlier glimpses, the RB17's front fascia has been significantly cleaned up. We're talking sleek LED headlights seamlessly integrated into the bodywork, contributing to an overall aesthetic that prioritizes aerodynamic efficiency. As with many modern hypercars these days, practically every surface is designed to manipulate airflow for maximum performance. Deep channels are carved into the carbon fiber body along its profile, directing air towards the critical rear cooling areas. A roof-mounted intake aggressively scoops air directly into the mid-mounted engine – no subtlety here, just pure function.

And then there’s that massive central fin. It's a design element seemingly borrowed straight from the cutting edge of Le Mans prototype racing, adding another layer of visual drama. Now, even though the RB17 is strictly a track-only machine, it's interesting to note that essential elements like side mirrors and a windshield wiper – things you'd typically find on road-legal cars – haven't been completely forgotten. They're there, subtly integrated, suggesting a nod to practicality, even in this extreme context.

Inside, Red Bull has clearly treated the interior like a pure race car cockpit. Forget about fancy touchscreens and unnecessary distractions; physical controls dominate every corner. It’s a driver-focused environment, designed to put you in direct connection with the machine. Speaking of the machine, the heart of the RB17 is a Cosworth-developed, naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V10, capable of revving to a mind-blowing 15,000 rpm. This engine alone churns out approximately 1,000 hp, but the total power output reaches a combined 1,200 hp thanks to the electric motor assistance. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox, complete with a hydraulically locking active limited-slip differential. Interestingly, the hybrid system handles the reverse duties. A clever piece of engineering there.

Red Bull plans to produce only 50 examples of the RB17, making it an incredibly exclusive piece of automotive history. Pricing hasn’t been officially announced yet, but let's be realistic – we're talking millions of euros. This engineering marvel, currently undergoing its final shakedown, is expected to be production-ready in the coming months. One can only dream of seeing this machine unleashed on a racetrack.
