Okay, campers, rise and shine! Because guess what? Connect 3 is back, baby! That's right, the Jonas Brothers are officially dusting off their guitars and heading back to Camp Rock for a brand new movie, slated to hit Disney+ and the Disney Channel in the summer of 2026. Cue the nostalgia!
Jonas Brothers 'Camp Rock 3' SHOCK! Connect 3 REUN...
A teaser trailer just dropped, and it's got the internet buzzing like a poorly amplified guitar solo. We see Joe, Nick, and Kevin standing in front of the familiar Camp Rock backdrop, promising a return to "music, friendship, memories." Joe even throws in a "We're back. Exactly where we're supposed to be," which, let's be honest, is exactly what every millennial who grew up on this franchise needed to hear today.
What's even cooler is that the whole gang is involved behind the scenes! Joe, Nick, and Kevin are all executive producers, alongside none other than Demi Lovato! This suggests a real dedication to honoring the legacy of the original movies, and ensuring the new chapter feels authentic. I mean, who knows Camp Rock better than those who lived it (on screen, at least)?
Beyond the Jonas Brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera is also returning as Connie, which is fantastic! But, we’re also getting a fresh crop of faces to fill the camper bunks. Liamani Segura plays Sage, a bold and determined camper, with Hudson Stone as her easygoing brother, Desi. We’ve also got Malachi Barton as Fletch, the resident camp bad boy (because every good camp story needs one, right?). Lumi Pollack will be Rosie, a cello prodigy, and Sherry Cola is Lark. Then there's Cliff (Casey Trotter), Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), and Madison (Ava Jean) rounding out the new crew.
So, what's the story? Well, Connect 3 needs an opening act for their big reunion tour. Where else to find fresh talent than at the place where it all began? Back at Camp Rock! Naturally, a competition ensues, and as the campers battle it out for a chance to shine, we can expect the usual mix of tension, friendship, unexpected alliances, and, of course, some good old-fashioned camp romances. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a feel-good Disney movie, right?
Honestly, I'm cautiously optimistic. Reboots and sequels can be tricky, but with the original cast involved and a storyline that feels true to the spirit of the original, "Camp Rock 3" has the potential to be a real crowd-pleaser. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go dust off my Camp Rock soundtrack and practice my air guitar. Summer 2026 can't come soon enough!
