Hold on to your hats, folks! Ralph Malph himself, Don Most, is making a comeback! The "Happy Days" star, beloved for his comedic timing and that unforgettable red hair (well, back then anyway!), is joining the cast of an upcoming indie TV series called "Write to Kill." And honestly, I couldn't be more excited. This is the kind of casting that just makes you smile.
'Happy Days' Star's SHOCKING New Role! What Will H...
The news, exclusively shared with us, reveals that Most will be sharing the screen with a pretty eclectic group. Charlotte Kirk is set to lead the show, and the supporting cast includes Sean Cronin, Joanna Whalley, Craig Kelly, Jasper Cole, Charlene Tilton (another blast from the past!), and even snooker legend Jimmy ‘Whirlwind’ White. Talk about a diverse bunch!
For those who may be too young to remember (and I'm starting to feel my age!), Don Most was a fixture on television for years. Nine years, in fact, on "Happy Days," from 1974 to 1983. He was the lovable class clown, always ready with a wisecrack. But his career didn't stop there. He also popped up in other classic shows like "Love Boat" and "Teen Wolf." So yeah, he's a familiar face, and one that brings a certain warmth and nostalgia to any project.
But wait, there's more! The producers are clearly building a solid ensemble. Simon Newton and Mike Wood have also signed on to play, what sounds like, some pretty menacing henchmen. And that's not all, Billy Hayes, Elena Sanchez, Rich Graff, Amber Doig-Thorne, Brooke Lewis Bellas, Vanessa Eichholz, David Kallaway, and Jack Hudson are also part of this project. It seems like almost everyone is on board.
Now, the details about "Write to Kill" are still a bit scarce, but we do know that the pilot episode was penned by Perlmutter along with Michael Gorman of Kat Harvey Films. And here's the interesting part: production is planned to take place in both London and New York. So we're looking at a potentially globe-trotting series, which piques my interest even further. Will it be a crime thriller? A spy drama? We'll have to wait and see!
With Don Most on board, and a blend of established actors and fresh faces, "Write to Kill" is certainly a project to keep an eye on. I, for one, am curious to see what kind of character Most will be playing, and how he fits into this seemingly chaotic but intriguing mix. The Leavitt Agency represents Most, and I'm sure they're just as excited about this new chapter in his career as we are.
