Alright, Euphoria fans, brace yourselves. It's been a long wait, but HBO has finally given us something to look forward to: Season 3 is officially slated for release in April 2026. Yes, you read that right. 2026. That's a pretty significant gap since we last saw Rue and the gang navigating the chaotic landscape of teenage life, love, and addiction back in February 2022.
Euphoria Season 3: Return Window REVEALED! What Wi...
The announcement, coming from Warner Bros. Discovery themselves, confirms that production wrapped last month. While we still don't have an exact premiere date within that April window, the news is enough to spark excitement. Four years is a long time in the world of television, especially when dealing with a young cast whose lives, and looks, can change dramatically in that period. It’ll be interesting to see how the show addresses that time jump.
Of course, Zendaya is back as Rue, continuing her Emmy-winning portrayal of the troubled protagonist. And thankfully, many of the familiar faces will be returning too. Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow are all confirmed to reprise their roles. Colman Domingo will also return as a guest star, bringing his undeniable gravitas to the screen.
There are some new additions to the regular cast, too. Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry, who both had recurring roles previously, are now series regulars. Plus, we're getting Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace joining the ensemble. It's always interesting to see how new blood can shake things up and introduce fresh dynamics within an established show. However, it's not all good news.
Sadly, not everyone is returning. Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat, won't be back due to what's been reported as "creative differences." And, as we all know, the show will undoubtedly feel the absence of Angus Cloud, who tragically passed away in 2023. He brought so much heart to the character of Fezco. Adding to the changes, Storm Reid, who played Rue's sister Gia, also won't be returning, which is a surprise. Shows evolve, of course, but these are some significant shifts in the cast dynamic.
Sam Levinson is back at the helm as writer, director, and executive producer, so expect more of his signature style – the gritty realism, the stylized visuals, and the often-controversial subject matter. With a production team that also includes names like Drake and Zendaya herself, "Euphoria" Season 3 is shaping up to be another cultural moment. Now we just have to wait patiently (or impatiently) until April 2026.
